People run through life
Technology in hand
They don't stop for a minute
Not even to dust off the sand
They work, work, work
And take, take, take
But never stop to give
For if they slowed down
Even for a moment
They would see the emptiness
Their pretend lives would shatter
And as ashes it would scatter
But for God so loved the world,
That he gave his one and only son
That whoever believes in him
Shall not:
Feel meaningless, hopeless, or empty;
Run aimlessly through life;
Always feel restless, pain, and strife
And most of all, when it comes to the end of days,
They will not perish,
But instead have eternal life
